Where Research Meets Innovation

The XLVI Dynamics Days Europe (DDE 2026) is a major International Scientific event and a joint venture between Spain (BCAM) and Portugal (NOVA FCT). Founded in the 1980s, this conference series is one of the most renowned European forums for developments in the theory and applications of dynamics, celebrating over 40 years of interdisciplinary research.

The conference program is designed to offer a diverse and enriching experience for attendees, covering research topics in scientific areas such as nonlinear science, chaos theory, complex systems and networks, fluid mechanics, and mathematical physics, as well as emerging fields like machine learning and social dynamics.

The program includes Plenary Talks, providing a platform for leading researchers to discuss recent advancements and strategic insights in dynamical systems with a global audience. These sessions are scheduled to feature distinguished experts from various backgrounds, including physics, mathematics, biology, and engineering, throughout the scientific program.

Invited Lectures and Minisymposia complement the conference by providing focused perspectives on specific topics proposed by the participants. These sessions, alongside Contributed Talks, create a stimulating environment for researchers to present their findings, exchange innovative ideas, and foster new international collaborations across multiple disciplines.

Additionally, the conference hosts a Poster Session, offering a dynamic space for researchers to present their work visually. To recognize outstanding contributions, Best Poster Awards will be presented to early-career researchers, including PhD students and postdoctoral fellows. The conference ensures that the valuable research presented is widely accessible, continuing its long-standing tradition of excellence in the scientific community.
