Postponement of deadlines for applications

In light of the recent developments about the implementation of new actions to constrain the spread of the COVID-19, our University was forced to close for the time being. This situation constraints the effort of our researchers, as well as the normal daily work of the scientific community. Since they have temporarily been sent home, some researchers expressed concerns about being able to carry out their activities, as well as finishing the applications that they are preparing within the established deadlines. In this context, some deadlines have been extended.

Among the calls and grants that had their deadlines extended are the Erasmus+ calls, the FCT.IP calls for SR&TD Project Grants and the 2020 Call for PhD Research Scholarships, the EEA Grants calls for Projects to strengthen climate change adaptation at local level, Projects to ‘Enhance sustainable development in Biosphere Reserves’, Implementation of pilot projects of living labs for decarbonisation and climate change mitigation, and the Local development through the Safeguarding and Revitalization of Coastal Cultural Heritage
