Abstract:

One intends to develop a sensor array system for Triclosan detection at low concentrations in a complex aqueous matrixes, following the electronic tongue concept,  using the following methodology:  a) Preparation and characterization of sensorial nanostructures based on ultra-thin films via deposition of sequential layers obtained by the layer-by-layer (LbL) technique; b) Measurement of impedance at different frequencies of the obtained nanostructures when immersed in aqueous complex matrixes with different triclosan concentrations; c) The characteristics of impedance spectra will be analysed by supervised and unsupervised pattern recognition techniques; and d) characterization of residual waters used as aqueous complex matrixes.
